Reframe your thinking with us

Reframed Thinking is led by Raphael Hammel - an engineer, management consultant and design innovation academic.

15 years of diverse professional experience to bring you a fresh perspective on your challenges!

This experience feeds into everything that we do for you.

Robust & science-based

You don't get invited to create and teach much of a new Master of Design Innovation & Strategic Design at the University of Sydney because you're full of s$%t.

Raphael's background working within academia at two of Australia's largest universities (UTS and USyd) has reinforced his interest in a broad spectrum of disciplines, and his belief in the importance of scientifically based knowledge (not the latest spin or flavour of the month).

There's a world of knowledge out there, but there is also lots of noise. Reframed Thinking brings you valid concepts, and cuts out the noise.

Holistic & analytical thinking

Working on the design of Airbus' A350 systems, you quickly realise that you need all parts to work together: not one to succeed at the expense of another.

Raphael's training in automation and IT, followed by work experiences at Airbus, shaped an ability to move seemlessly between big-picture system view and detailed analysis.

Don't fix a part that doesn't fit in the whole. Don't create a whole of holes. Reframed Thinking helps you connect the big picture and the nitty-gritty.

High quality outputs

Consulting, where you learn how to save the business world one slide at a time… creating high quality content from the first draft to the final deliverable.

Raphael's successful career as a consultant at Deloitte had fun highlights, such as when a client threatened to call Deloitte's CEO to complain if he was not included on the project team. Working on strategy, technology and people projects in public and private sector was very formative too.

Go beyond the veneer of a logically structured problem or presentation. Reframed Thinking navigates complexity to deliver you clarity.
